We specialize in application development - most notably Metadata Assistant which helps to remove embedded and often confidential residual information from Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF files. Numbering Assistant makes even the most complex number easy and can be used on any type of Word document and shared without issue with people outside of your organization. Forms Assistant helps you create common documents including but not limited to letter, memo, fax, pleadings, agreements, Bates, mail merge files and much more. Information can be extracted from contact management software and easily shared to make workflow more successful and seamless. Two of our newer offerings include Outlook Send Assistant which helps to avoid sending e-mails to unintended recipients; and Payne's video training product which can be used to train your users on Microsoft Office or any Payne product. We are dedicated to coming up with innovative and necessary tools to increase productivity and make software easier and more enjoyable to use.

When you are planning a migration to new software, you can leverage Payne's senior specialists to get a jump start on the process. For instance, the Migration Roundtable is a 2-day event that takes place at your location and looks at all of the installation and configuration settings possible for Office 2007. Included in this meeting are recommendations on group policy settings, security templates, training, styles configurations, templates and more. After the meeting, you receive a 220 plus page document detailing the decisions made in the meeting. While others may attempt to offer similiar services, to date, we know of nothing else remotely close to what we offer to our clients with Migration Roundtable.

Project management is also something to seriously consider when undertaking a rollout. Where we fit in is that we have been through many rollouts of all shapes and sizes and can help you to avoid common pitfalls in order to remain on time and on budget. The Master Series course is very special. It was our first high level training course offered, beginning 14 years ago, and it continues to be our most popular course today. This class is designed to train your internal IT staff of trainers, help desk and systems engineers how to train and support, and really understand Microsoft Word 2007. The registry is covered when applicable, and support and troubleshooting tips run throughout the entire course. This class was created by Payne Consulting Group but based in theory on a course that Donna Payne taught for Microsoft support personnel many years ago. It's tried and true, and it includes information not found elsewhere. Again, don't settle for imiatations when it comes to preparing your IT staff to support your users.
